About Nick Cromwell
Nick has over twenty years’ experience in management and personal development. This includes successfully running the Elizabeth House Association, a leading charitable organisation, and coaching senior executives across a variety of sectors, as well as coaching and supervising other coaches.
As a skilled listener, Nick brings objectivity to organisations, teams and individuals by acting as an external and informed “sounding board”. The Coaching Plan is based on an approved format, tailored to individual and organisational need. Nick’s coaching takes a calm and measured approach. His style enables him to develop a unique relationship with his clients, which is both powerful and transformational.
He is highly qualified and gained a scholarship to train with The Coaching Academy, the highly regarded coach-training organisation, where he graduated with distinction. He is an accredited coach, trained in personal and corporate coaching, a qualified teacher, a trained counsellor and a qualified Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming . He also holds a qualification in hypnosis as an application of NLP. He has trained with world-renowned experts John Grinder, Richard Bandler, Paul McKenna and Michael Breen, Michael Grinder, John Seymour and Ian McDermott.
Nick’s background incorporates the voluntary, public and private sectors. He began his career in teaching, worked in local government and later in housing. A qualified NVQ Assessor and Project Manager, he has run holiday projects for deprived children and a project to help drug users. He has worked as a counsellor and taught karate. He has held a variety of positions at Board level and currently works with national and international companies.
Nick is an accredited member of the Association for Coaching, a member of the Institute for Individual Psychology and a member of the Coaching Academy. He is an Associate Coach with the National Housing Federation.
Nick has an interest in diversity and his varied work and life experience help him to understand the needs of his different clients. He coaches because he enjoys working with people, helping them to perform to their best.
Nick established Nick Cromwell Coaching in response to a growing need within business and among individuals for a new and different approach to managing change, improving performance and meeting potential. He currently coaches in the charity, public and corporate sectors as well as coaching private individuals. In addition to helping individuals as coach and mentor, Nick works with teams as coach, trainer and facilitator.
